Adjunct Faculty "Online" Teaching Opportunities
Welcome to Northwestern State University! NSU invites applications
for adjunct faculty teaching assignments in its associate,
baccalaureate, masters, and specialist programs. We are delighted that
you are interested in devoting your expertise and teaching talent to the
development of our students. We emphasize the student as being the most
important individual on campus and that student learning and success are
the most important outcomes of the teaching function. If you are
committed to academic excellence and providing a dynamic climate for
learning, and you are able to demonstrate teaching strategies that focus
on student-centered learning, we invite you to submit an application.
Educators and/or professionals interested in teaching as adjunct faculty
at NSU are required to follow a specific application. The procedure
along with required documents is available to download as a Word

Methods of Applying
Apply On-Line
Complete the Online Adjunct Application and submit automatically to the
Office of Electronic and Continuing Education (you should have a cover
letter and resume/vita prepared for submission).
Apply via Mail
Download the Adjunct Application. Complete either a handwritten or typed
application and mail it with the graduate application (if applicable),
Cover Letter, Resume or VITA, (3 References), Evidence of Online
Teaching Proficiency Documentation, and Official Transcripts to the
Office of Electronic and Continuing Education, 201 Williamson Hall,
Natchitoches, LA 71497.
